In keeping with that commitment, we promise that our Training Program offers fun, educational classes that build the bond between you and your dog and provide you both with the effective communication, understanding and respect necessary to develop a well-behaved pet. Please note that we do not accept aggressive dogs.
Classes:
Puppy Socialization Puppies are socialized by playing with each other and other people. Owners are taught good puppy management skills and how to prevent problem behavior. Basic obedience skills are introduced that include sit, down, come, stay and leave it and loose leash walking.
Puppy Obedience This is an entry-level class for puppies under 9 months old. It will focus on building a better relationship with your puppy. Basic obedience skills taught will include sit, down, come, stay, leave it/give, loose leash walking, impulse control, waiting and attention
Basic Obedience This is an entry-level class for dogs over 6 months old. It will focus on building a better relationship with your dog. Basic obedience skills taught will include sit, down, come, stay, leave it/give, loose leash walking, impulse control, waiting and attention.
Intermediate Obedience This class builds on skills learned in Basic Obedience and Puppy Obedience. We work on increasing the difficulty, distance, distractions and duration of the basic obedience skills.
Canine Good Citizen This class will practice and strengthen the skills required to become a Canine Good Citizen. It will focus on greeting strangers, greeting other dogs, being touched and groomed while staying under control, coping with sound distractions, come when called and stay
All above courses are $140 for 6 sessions.
Drop In Obedience This is a one session class that will work on one or two behaviors of concern to you. Drop in session $40
Private Sessions Trainer will work privately with you and your dog for any behavior issues except aggression. $80 for a 50 minute session
Kitty Socialization This is two session course designed by a veterinarian. The purpose is to teach new owners about the best ways to care for and interact with their new kitten. Socialization is achieved by meeting and playing with other kittens, new people and dogs (on leash).

Requirements: Dogs: Dogs Current Vaccines: Distemper/Parvo Combo, Rabies and Bordatella (kennel cough), and be on heartworm preventative Dogs must be on a flea preventative, flea collars are permitted. All vaccines must be administered at least 10 days prior to visit. Cats: Cats Current Vaccines: Distemper/Rabies/Feline Leukemia/FIV Cats must be on a flea preventative, flea collars are permitted.
